Health Care Management Practicum Experience

Penn Foster's Health Care Management Degree Program includes a required practicum to gain real-world experience prior to graduating. After successfully completing your online studies, you'll work under the supervision of a healthcare manager, office manager, or nursing home administrator to apply your skills and knowledge to hands-on tasks. The practicum is a minimum of 160 hours which will be completed at a medical facility near you. Students are responsible for finding a site and the site must be approved by your instructor before beginning your hours.
